Peter Andre wants fan romance

Peter Andre would date a fan.

The 'Behind Closed Doors' singer - who divorced Katie Price in September 2009 - would happily date an admirer because all he wants from a woman is someone to "support" him.

He said: "A human is a human. That sounded a bit weird. But I think when the right person is there, it doesn't matter where they are from. As long as they support you that's all that matters."

The Australian singer recently had a tattoo on his wedding finger with the word 'Katie' on it removed, and he admits he did it as it no longer "belongs" on his hand.

Writing in his new! magazine column, he said: "I don't want the kids asking questions when they are older. They'll never notice it was there. And, for me, it doesn't belong there."

Despite not wanting his children Junior, five, and Princess Tiaamii, three, to question his relationship with the former glamour model, he does admit his eldest son is keen for him to partner up.

He said: "Junior is already outdoing me! He said the other day, 'Dad, when are you going to get a girlfriend? I have four!' I said to him, 'You will be the first to know, son, don't worry about that.' "
