Popstar George Shelley has returned to his ever first job as a barista in a London coffee shop.

The former member of boyband Union J has headed back into the London store to meet his old boss as a new survey finds two in five Brits admit they would like to meet their first boss to show them how far they have progressed in their career.

The survey, conducted by Costa, also found that the skill most favoured by two thirds of employees is the ability to work well in a team.

Talking about his experience, Capital FM presenter George Shelley said, “I actually think a lot of people would like to meet their first boss! I’m glad I can thank the team for showing me the ropes at Costa and teaching me the skills that I still use today.

“I learnt a lot in my first job and it did great things for my confidence which helped me get to where I am today.”
