Rihanna is reportedly angry that lyrics on her new single have been changed by her own record label.

On Sunday, Rihanna vented her frustration after she was incorrectly informed via Twitter that BBC Radio 1 had changed the name of her song, 'S&M', to 'Come On'.

The Bajan beauty thought that Radio 1 had cut several words from the song, including "sex" and "chains", however, it was actually her own record label, Def Jam, who had made the changes in order to guarantee the song gets air-play.

The 22-year-old, who last week had raunchy text photos of her leaked on the internet, reacted on her Twitter page, posting: "Are you f**king kidding me???"

A Radio 1 spokesperson said: "During daytime hours, as younger audiences are listening, we are playing the radio edit which is called Come On. This is due to the strong nature of the content in the original version of the track. However we will continue to play the original track in specialist shows with an appropriate introduction. It is common practice to play radio edits of certain tracks in daytime."

The video for Rihanna's new single,'S&M' has been banned in several countries and currently only Radio 1 are playing the full version of the song.
