Robbie Williams has announced that he and his wife Ayda Field are expecting their second child.

The Take That singer took to Twitter to share his news on Monday night, tweeting: “Ayda and I are delighted to announce that Theodora Rose Williams is going to be a big sister. RW xxx”

The couple already have one child together, Teddy, who was born in September 2012 and serves as huge inspiration to her father Robbie.

The singer wrote a hit song, Go Gentle, for his daughter, and said it’s “about being worried she might meet someone like me – and what she should do if she does.”

During an interview last year with Alan Carr, Robbie expressed his desire to have more children, saying: "My little girl is wonderful. We are going to do more of them because they are amazing."

The 40-year-old married his wife Ayda in Los Angeles in 2010, and the family now live together in LA.
