Swedish pop star Robyn has left fans speculating if she welcomed a baby in secret last year after sharing a photo of a child on Instagram.

The Dancing On My Own hitmaker, 44, never alluded to a pregnancy or even revealed that she had a baby, but her latest social media post has left many believing she has.

The singer, real name Robin Miriam Carlsson, uploaded the sweetest snap on Tuesday with the caption: “My time is yours 4-ever Tyk”.

Understandably, many of her 347,000 followers questioned whether this was her way of announcing she had become a parent.

One asked: “Robyn is a Mother??” while another commented: “I’m guessing that’s why she hasn’t been active in over a year.”

A third fan added: “And we were wondering why you’re not releasing new music... You’ve been busyyyy, congratulations.”

BBC Radio 1 presenter Clara Amfo also reacted to the photo and commented under the post a series of heart eye emoji alongside singer Charli XCX, who penned: “What a flirt”.

Robyn has been largely inactive online, with her last post showing her support for women in Iran back in October 2022.

Before her supportive post, she was last active on social media seven months prior in March. At the time, many fans believed her absence was due to her working on a new album.

Despite being private about her personal life, the With Every Heartbeat singer is thought to be in a relationship with videographer Max Vitali, who she referred to as her “fiancé” in a 2013 interview.

She previously told Collection of Style magazine: “We became friends when we made the video for Be Mine, and now we work together a lot. He made all the videos for the last album.”

The couple briefly separated following the release of her 2010 album Body Talk, but are said to have reconciled by 2018.

The Standard has contacted Robyn’s rep for comment.
