South Park has taken aim at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a segment criticising their public appearances since leaving the Royal Family.

In an episode titled Worldwide Privacy Tour, that aired on Wednesday, February 15, cartoon versions of the couple are interviewed on the fictional Good Morning Canada show.

They walk in chanting, “We want privacy!” while Meghan holds a sign that says, “Stop looking at us!”

They sit down and thank the presenter for having them on the show, with Meghan saying, “It’s so awesome to be here, it’s great.”

Prince Harry is said to be there to promote his book, Waaagh, playing on his recently released memoir, Spare.

As Harry begins to explain the book, he is interrupted by Meghan, who says she encouraged him to write the book because his family’s “like, stupid”.

The presenter questions the couple on why they say they hate journalists, before calling Harry a journalist for writing a book that reports on the Royal Family.

Meghan says: “We just want to be normal people, all this attention is so hard.”

South Park also pokes fun at Meghan for having celebrity friends and appearing in fashion magazines, arguing she doesn’t actually want privacy.

The couple then storms off set, saying they’re going to look for somewhere where they can be “normal people”.

Another clip from the same episode sees Harry and Meghan inside a house decorated with banners that read “Leave us alone,” and “Respect our privacy”.

This clips sees Meghan claim she’s been victimised because she’s an ethnic woman and jokes about Harry’s reference to his frostbitten penis, which he divulged in his memoir.

Since leaving the Royal Family in early 2021, they spoke about their experience in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, and later in a three-part Netflix documentary.

Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare, was released in January 2023, in which he wrote about his experience growing up in the Royal Family.
