SHOREDITCH CARNIVAL


The whole of the Shoreditch Triangle spills onto the streets this weekend as London's in-crowd party in style. The kids haven't been forgotten either: there's a pirate ship they can explore, a play bus, kids' karaoke (sounds painful) plus face painting and rickshaw rides. Leave the car and cycle down or grab a tube to Old Street. Shoreditch Carnival, Curtain Road, EC1, Sun 19 Sep, noon- 9pm, free. www.shoreditchcarnival.org.uk
