Strictly star Janette Manrara has given birth to her first child with husband and fellow pro dancer Aljaz Skornec.

The It Takes Two host, 29, delighted fans after revealing an adorable snap of her newborn daughter on social media.

The pair shared a gorgeous black-and-white shot of them cradling little Lyra Rose Skorjanec in hospital.

A number of stars congratulated the dancing duo following the announcement.

Former Strictly dancer James Jordan said: “So happy for you both. Sending love from the Jordans" while Oti Mabuse gushed: "CONGRATULATIONS. best news ever.”

Gemma Atkinson said the news was “just wonderful” while Dianne Buswell gushed: "Yay so so exciting".

Janette was secretly pregnant while presenting the Strictly live tour in 2022.

She and Aljaz have been married since 2017.
