Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner share sweet kiss in first official appearance at Golden Globes

Timothée Chalamet has made his first official public appearance with Kylie Jenner at the Golden Globe Awards, where he was nominated for best actor in a musical or comedy in a motion picture.

The Wonka star, sporting an all-black ensemble with a glittering jacket, appeared alongside Jenner during the 81st ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

It comes after the pair first went public with their romance in September, after being spotted getting intimate at a Beyonce concert.

Chalamet, who has been nominated for three Golden Globe awards during his career including for 2017’s Call Me By Your Name, was beaten to the prize for best actor in a musical or comedy by Paul Giamatti for his role in The Holdovers.

US actor Giamatti, who plays curmudgeonly teacher Paul Hunham in the 2023 film, dedicated the award to teachers.

During the ceremony, Chalamet and Jenner, who found fame on reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, were pictured in their matching black outfits holding hands at the table.

Jenner was later captured twiddling his necklace as the couple stared into each other’s eyes and shared a kiss.

The 26-year-old, who reached billionaire status as a makeup entrepreneur with her brand Kylie Cosmetics, shares two children with US rapper Travis Scott.

It was a successful night on Sunday for Oppenheimer, which scored five major awards during the ceremony.

British filmmaker Christopher Nolan was named best director for the first time after six nominations, while Irish actor Cillian Murphy took home best actor in a drama for his work as the father of the atomic bomb.

Oppenheimer was also named best drama motion picture, which saw Nolan’s wife Emma Thomas serve as producer, and best supporting actor went to Robert Downey Jr for his role in the thriller – which also stars British actresses Emily Blunt and Florence Pugh.

Emma Stone and Lily Gladstone also won top acting prizes.

Elsewhere, TV show Succession also proved a big hit at the 81st ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, scoring best TV drama series, while best female actor in a TV series drama went to Australian actress Sarah Snook – who said the show had changed her life.

Succession stars Kieran Culkin and Matthew Macfadyen were also among the winners in the TV categories for best actor and best supporting actor in a TV series drama respectively.
