A giant £57m deal for quarterback Eli Manning

Nice little earner: Eli Manning is set to earn almost £10m a year

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning will become the NFL's biggest earner thanks to a six-year, £57million contract extension.

Although the deal has not been signed, terms have been agreed and the Giants do not think the huge wages will affect Manning, 28.

"He knows how to handle pressure and has done it before," said general manager Jerry Reese.
