All change for tourists

England picked just four players from the team that earned their historic Ashes success at the SCG last Friday as they turned their attention to the 50-over game against a Prime Minister's XI at Canberra.

The tourists opted for a strong batting line-up with stand-in skipper Paul Collingwood, Ian Bell, Jonathan Trott and Kevin Pietersen retained for their only warm-up match ahead of the upcoming two Twenty20 and seven one-day internationals against Australia.

That meant first appearances on tour for spin duo Michael Yardy and James Tredwell while Chris Woakes was set to join Ajmal Shahzad in an inexperienced new-ball attack.

They were set to be called immediately into action after the home side won the toss, conducted by Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, and elected to bat under grey skies.
