Allen: Sir Clive can inspire my dropped stars

Martin Allen wants his players to draw inspiration from Sir Clive Woodward to help them cope with being dropped.

The Brentford manager has a near fully-fit squad and is worried that his players will feel aggrieved at being left out.

Ahead of Sunday's home game against Torquay, Allen said: "I played them a video of Woodward with the England World Cup rugby team. He said that if you are left out you are a real man if you can wish the man who has taken your place good luck."
