Another victim in card blunder

14 April 2012

France's Sebastien Delagrange was disqualified from the Irish Open today for signing the wrong score at the 16th hole during the first round.

"I signed for a 73 and it should have been a 74," said Delagrange, who realised his mistake on returning to Pormarnock today. "I signed for a four on the 16th when it should have been a five."

Delagrange is the third player to be disqualified in the past week. Jesper Parnevik and Mark Roe were disqualified from The Open on Saturday over a scorecard mix-up.

England's David Lynn today carded a second-round 65 to go to 10 under and take over at the top of the leaderboard.

Overnight leader Bjorn was two shots behind after his third hole today, while England's Gary Emerson was a further shot behind after his sixth hole.
