Aussie delight as India slump

Australia today won the first game of the triangular one-day series after India lost their last six wickets in Melbourne for 13 runs in 20 deliveries.

Set 289 to win, India were well placed at 257 for four when the collapse began, with Yuvraj Singh caught by Michael Clarke off the bowling of Ian Harvey and Sourav Ganguly run out off the next ball.

India were rapidly bowled out for 270 with an over to spare.

Earlier, Andrew Symonds top scored for Australia with 88, while Ajit Agarkar took six for 42.

Australia play Zimbabwe in Sydney on Sunday in the series' second game.
