Blues stars flying high

Chelsea's England stars had one up on their London counterparts when Roman Abramovich's private jet flew Frank Lampard, Joe Cole and John Terry from Baku.

The other London club players drew the short straw on the five hour flight from Azerbaijan. The FA charter takes it in turns to stop first at either London or Manchester.

This week it was the turn of the northern players to stop first. Players such as Tottenham's Jermain Defoe finally stepped out of the plane at London around 5am.
