British heavyweight Derek Chisora will take on former world champion Joseph Parker on May 1, headling a card which will see Katie Taylor defend her titles against Natasha Jonas.

The bout will be Chisora's first since losing to Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk at Wembley last October.

Chisora and Parker were due to face off in October 2019, only for the latter to pull out following a spider bite. A venue for the May card is yet to be confirmed.

"I'm looking forward to the fight, I cannot wait to get back in the ring," said Chisora.

Parker added: "Chisora and I have unfinished business and inside the ring one of us will get the job done.

"I am well aware that a win on British soil and on worldwide television will put me in pole position whereas a loss will be catastrophic."

Taylor and Jonas will renew with Olympic rivalry, almost a decade on from their famous meeting at London 2012.

Taylor beat Jonas in their lightweight quarter-final in front of a crowd generating a record 113.7 decibels of noise at London's ExCel Arena before going on to claim Olympic gold.

Since then Taylor has won professional world titles in two weight divisions while Jonas fought a thrilling world super-featherweight title draw with Terri Harper last summer.

Taylor said: "Natasha proved in her last fight that she is still performing at the highest level so it's a great challenge for me and I'm really looking forward to it.

"People still talk about our fight in the 2012 Olympics and I think that proved to be a real eye opener for people in terms of what women's boxing is all about."
