A new date for an exhibition match between undefeated former world champion Floyd Mayweather and YouTuber-turned-amateur boxer Logan Paul has been set.

After the ongoing Covid pandemic saw the original February date postponed, Mayweather has announced on his Instagram page that the pair will face off June 6 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

"Mayweather Promotions, Fanmio and Showtime Boxing have come together to bring an epic event," the 44-year-old posted.

“Tickets will go on sale next week.”

Mayweather is considering one of the greatest boxers of all time, boasting a 50-0 career record having won titles at five different weights. Paul has fought once and lost to fellow Youtube star KSI.

The June fight will mark Mayweather’s first foray into the ring in two and a half years, having beaten MMA star Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition match in December 2018, recording a first-round knockout.

Mayweather also beat MMA star Conor McGregor in August 2017.
