He converted his own try and kicked three penalties. Even though the thirdwas late in the game, Lancaster still had the chance to progress as theaway team but an even later penalty struck an upright.

'It was a match between two very good sides,' said Bradford coach CharlieLines. 'They defended very well and both tries were scored from closerange.'

Bradford go for a place in the semi-finals at Castlecroft on March 17against Bromsgrove at home on March 1.
