Commonwealth Games schedule: Day eight events and start times at Birmingham 2022

Friday at the Commonwealth Games sees track and field take centre stage once again.

The best action on day seven saw Rasheed Broadbell win the men’s 110metre hurdles with England’s Andrew Pozzi grabbing bronze.

Australia lead the medal table after surpassing 50 golds on Thursday and dominating in the pool, which focuses on diving today.

Here is how the events are scheduled for day eight of Birmingham 2022...

Athletics and para athletics: 10am to 3pm and 6:30pm to 10pm

Lawn bowls and para lawn bowls: 8:30am to 3:15pm and 4:30pm to 7:45pm

Badminton: 11am to 3:30pm and 5:30pm to 10pm

Hockey: 9am to 1:30pm and 6pm to 8:30pm

Table tennis and para table tennis: 9:30am to 2pm and 4pm to 8:30pm

Diving: 10am to 1pm and 6pm to 9pm

Wrestling: 10:30am to 1:30pm and 5pm to 7:30pm

Rhythmic gymnastics: 1:30pm to 5:30pm

Netball: 9am to 1pm, 2:30pm to 6:30pm

Squash: 12pm to 3pm, 6pm to 9pm

Beach volleyball: 11am to 1pm and 2:30pm to 5:30pm and 7pm to 10pm
