Correa knocks back Spurs and sets his sights on success with Sevilla

Sevilla striker Adriano Correia has snubbed Tottenham to stay in Spain.


Spurs boss Juande Ramos was keen to take Correia to White Hart Lane but the Brazilian wants to win La Liga with  the Seville club.

He said: "It is a great ambition of mine to be a champion again in Spain and the interest from England does not change that.

"The career of a footballer is very short and it is important to manage it correctly. In recent seasons Sevilla have achieved a lot and we have done better than people expected.

"I think we can be champions again and I think we can continue to grow, we can challenge to be in the Champions League next season.
