Dichio: 'price is wrong'

Danny Dichio today attacked West Brom for pricing him out of a move to Millwall.

Dichio ended his one-month loan at The Den last weekend after scoring five goals in three games but transfer negotiations between the clubs have been difficult because Albion are asking £700,000 for the striker.

Millwall chairman Theo Paphitis has not given up hope of completing a permanent deal but Dichio says West Brom have been unreasonable.

The 29-year-old said: 'I was flabbergasted at the figure. I have only got five months left on my contract. I am seventh in line at West Brom, so to ask for that amount is a kick in the teeth.

'A bit of honesty and loyalty would have been appreciated after they let me come down here on loan.'
