England fight back

England lifted their hopes of claiming an unlikely victory in the final Test today by claiming three early wickets after conceding a massive first-innings lead to India.

Resuming the fourth day at the PCA Stadium trailing by 171 runs on 282 for six, England collapsed to 302 all out in only 44 minutes to concede a 151-run first-innings deficit.

However, they bounced back after lunch with three wickets to leave India struggling on 44 three. Stuart Broad and James Anderson picked up a wicket each, while Ian Bell reacted quickly to run out Virender Sehwag.
