Max Verstappen crashed on his way to the grid to put his participation in the Hungarian Grand Prix in doubt.

The Dutchman lost control of his car in the damp conditions at the Hungaroring, sliding into the barriers.

Verstappen, who was due to start from seventh position, sustained damage to the front and side of his Red Bull.

After losing his front wing in the accident, he limped to the grid where his mechanics began working on his wounded machine.

Red Bull's mechanics appeared to solve the issue in under 20 minutes to put Verstappen back in contention to start the race.
