FA fine Coleman

12 April 2012

Fulham manager Chris Coleman has been fined £2,500 by the Football Association and warned as to his future conduct after an incident against Tottenham last month.

The sides drew 1-1 in the Barclays Premiership match after Pascal Chimbonda claimed a point for Tottenham with a late equaliser Coleman felt was offside.

The Welshman was charged for remonstrating with officials following the final whistle and has been found guilty after admitting a charge of using abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official.

Coleman did not request a personal hearing.
