Felipe Massa’s intent on catching Jenson Button

13 April 2012

Felipe Massa has warned Jenson Button he has not given up on this year's world championship.

While Britain's Button has won the opening two races in his Brawn GP, neither Massa nor Ferrari team-mate Kimi Raikkonen have scored a point.

Yet ahead of Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix, Massa said: "It won't be so easy to catch them but it can be possible. We will not give up. We will work very hard and can improve our car a lot."

Ferrari, who have ditched the KERS system for this race, are fast-tracking the design of a new diffuser similar to one fitted to Button's car, which yesterday was declared legal.

Button said: "It was a nice feeling to put it behind us and now we can concentrate on our proper job."
