Advert seeks Arsenal fans for 'Champions League match watching and banter'

If you consider yourself to be a die-hard Arsenal supporter with a respectable level of banter, then an Australian Gunners fan has the perfect job opportunity to tickle your fancy.

The fan, who goes by the name of Dino, has posted an opening on the website Gumtree offering a lucrative salary of 150 Australian dollars per game (£88) for a young student to watch Arsenal’s matches in the Champions League.

The applicant would then be expected to commentate on the action and “engage in banter with specified targets” so that Dino can read up on the events at a later date. He then indicates that some forms of “strategic flirting and mind games” may occur with “several females.”

However, cautious applicants will spot near the bottom of the advert that any person looking to apply will need to “undergo a three-day drilling to test your quick-wit and banter skills”, and should you fail to reach Dino’s high standards, you won’t get the job.
