Alexis Sanchez will be delighted with the start he has made at Arsenal – and he looks just as happy about modelling the club’s new Christmas jumper.

The Chilean was pictured in the Gunners’ festive garment, which may well come in handy as the new recruit looks to adapt to the London winter – on average, temperatures are seven degrees lower in the English capital than in Barcelona during December.

The red jumper features a football snowman, and is accompanied by a woman’s version – modelled by Arsenal Ladies stars Rachel Yankey and Danielle Carter – which displays a Reindeer wearing an Arsenal scarf.

A fifth of all proceeds raised by the sales of the jumpers will go to Save the Children, the Arsenal Foundation’s global charity party.

On the pitch, Arsenal look set to face a testing December, with seven games to contend with in just 25 days.
