Mikel Arteta has allayed the latest injury fears around Bukayo Saka after the winger limped off late on in Sunday’s 1-0 win against Manchester United.

Saka fell awkwardly down the steep slope behind the Old Trafford goal and clattered into the hoardings.

He came back onto the pitch but then slumped to the ground and was substituted after 82 minutes.

Seeing Saka limp off was a concern for Arsenal, who ensured the title race will go down to the final day by beating United.

Saka was a fitness concern before the game after he sustained a gash to his left leg in last weekend’s 3-0 win against Bournemouth.

But when Arteta was asked about Saka after the United game, he said: “Yeah, he should be fine.”

Victory at Old Trafford means Arsenal are one point above Manchester City at the top of the Premier League going into the last week of the season.

City play Tottenham on Tuesday when they can return to the top ahead of the final day, when they host West Ham and Arsenal host Everton.
