Arsenal are yet to agree a contract extension with defender Cedric Soares to ensure he can play for the club past June 30.
The right-back joined Arsenal on loan from Southampton in the January transfer window, parting with a fee of around £1million to do so.
Cedric’s contract with Southampton expires this summer and it was expected when he joined Arsenal on loan that he would move to Emirates Stadium permanently this summer.

Premier League clubs have until June 23 to agree Fifa-approved temporary contract extensions with players, which cover them to play for their clubs next month when the season will still be taking place.
Arsenal are yet to agree terms with Cedric and now face the prospect of him potentially leaving the club having played just one or two games.
The right-back arrived at the club with a knee injury and his near return to fitness coincided with the Premier League’s suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He has recently been training with a face mask and has not featured in any of Arsenal’s two behind-closed doors friendlies so far, making him a doubt for Wednesday’s trip to Manchester City.
Arsenal are understood to be relaxed about Cedric’s situation, with the player showing no indication he is unhappy at the club.
