Arsenal kept their hopes of playing European football next season alive with a late 3-1 win at Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

Simon Collings ran the rule over Mikel Arteta’s players at Selhurst Park...

Bernd Leno 7

Made a couple of good saves, particularly in the first half. One of the better performers during the win.

Calum Chambers 7

Made a great tackle in the second half to stop Wilfried Zaha from scoring. Got forward when he could and is developing an understanding with Nicolas Pepe.

Rob Holding 6

Stopped Christian Benteke from getting through on goal early on and was solid for most of the night, but will be disappointed with the nature of Palace’s goal.

Gabriel 6

His passing on the ball is getting better and he seemed to relish the physical battle with Benteke. A solid display.

Kieran Tierney 7

Looks fully fit again and back to his usual self. Set up Arsenal’s first goal and looked a threat going forward when he combined with Bukayo Saka.

Mohamed Elneny 7

A solid game from the Egyptian, but nowhere near the level he was against Chelsea last week.

Thomas Partey 5

Made a vital block early on to deny Jeffrey Schlupp, however he didn’t command the game as you would like. Taken off instead of Elneny with 12 minutes to go.

Nicolas Pepe 8 | Star man

One of those who had a better game. Scored two goals and looked a real threat all night. Has been one of Arsenal’s best players this season.

Emile Smith Rowe 6

Couple of nice moments and touches, but not as impressive as he was against Chelsea last week.

Bukayo Saka 6

Had a fairly decent game out left and linked up well with Tierney, particularly for Arsenal’s first goal. Taken off with just over an hour gone.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 5

A very quiet night for the captain, who was not involved much at all. Looked isolated at times and starved of service.

Substitutions

Martin Odegaard (Saka 65’) 6

A few nice moments and touches when he came on - and set up Martinelli for his goal.

Gabriel Martinelli (Partey 78’) 7

Came on and scored for Arsenal. A vital cameo.

Granit Xhaka (Tierney 78’) 6

Came on and provided a calming influence.

Subs not used: Ryan, Mari, Cedric, Ceballos, Willian, Lacazette.
