Arsenal will be without Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for Friday’s clash with Everton.

The two strikers are both unfit for the match at Emirates Stadium and are unable to take part in the game.

Aubameyang is still recovering after contracting malaria while on international duty, but he is hoping to resume light training by the end of this week.

Lacazette, meanwhile, is struggling with a hamstring issue he picked up during Sunday’s draw with Fulham. He will continue to work with the Arsenal medical team and will be assessed ahead of next week’s Europa League semi-final first leg against Villarreal.

The Gunners will definitely be without David Luiz and Kieran Tierney for Friday’s game as they recover from knee issues.

Luiz is making very good progress and is hoping to integrate back into light training with the squad next week.

Tierney is said to be making positive progress too and is hoping to be back in training within two to three weeks.

Playmaker Martin Odegaard is also a doubt for Friday’s game with Everton, but he is back in light training after recovering from an ankle issue picked up on international duty last month.
