Arsenal XI vs Everton: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Premier League game today

Confirmed team news as Arsenal host Everton at the Emirates

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is once again on the bench as the Gunners name an unchanged side for their clash with Everton.

Partey has been out injured with a thigh injury, though made his comeback against Leicester on Saturday. The Ghanaian played the final six minutes of the 1-0 win and is hoping to get more minutes going forward.

“He hasn’t trained much,” said Mikel Arteta. “He had a session and he will train [on Tuesday]. It is what it is. He was out for a few weeks and he needs to get back into the rhythm.”

However, he has to settle for a place among the substitutes, as Jorginho keeps his place in midfield.

Eddie Nketiah was the other player with the strongest hopes of a recall to the starting XI after being dropped for the win at Leicester, but Leandro Trossard is named as a false nine.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Jorginho, Xhaka, Odegaard, Saka, Trossard, Martinelli.

Subs: Tierney, Partey, Smith Rowe, Nketiah, Kiwior, Holding, Tomiyasu, Vieira, Turner.

Wednesday 7.45pm GMT

Venue: Emirates Stadium

Referee: Michael Oliver
