Arsenal have been handed a home draw against Championship Norwich City in the Fourth Round of the EFL Cup, with the ties being played the week commencing 23rd October.

The Gunners earned their spot in the hat despite making life hard for themselves and had Theo Walcott to thank for his solitary strike in their 1-0 win over Doncaster, with Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud passing up plenty of chances.

There was a big bonus for Arsene Wenger, however, who saw Jack Wilshere complete 90 minutes in an Arsenal shirt for the first time since September 2014, making his first appearance for the club since the end of Leicester’s title winning season.

Wenger will be confident of progressing to the Quarter Final stages of the EFL Cup, having lost just once against the Canaries during his tenure as Gunners boss, a 1-0 loss at Carrow Road in 2012, winning four from five since then.
