Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Arsenal stars back in training at London Colney

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal squad looked in high spirits as they returned to training this week as preparations for the Premier League restart gathered pace.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future at the club remains uncertain beyond the end of the season, but the Gunners captain looked in high spirits as he hit the pitch at London Colney.

Arteta's squad are stepping up training ahead of a potential mid-June resumption of Premier League football.

Early last week, all 20 clubs unanimously voted in favour of a return to training in small groups with strict social distancing guidelines.

Players are now allowed to train in small, non-contact groups, with each individual allowed no more than 75 minutes of training at any one time.

With the barbers a write-off at the moment due to lockdown restrictions (unless you're Serge Aurier, that is), a few players have opted for a buzzcut with Hector Bellerin and Shkodran Mustafi lopping their locks off.
