Standard Sport brings you all the top talk and gossip from the summer transfer window!

The shutters are up, the doors are open, as clubs around the world scramble, plot and scheme in the market.

Petr Cech has left Chelsea and arrived at Arsenal, Radamel Falcao has made his way to Stamford Bridge - while Jose Mourinho, who snatched Pedro from underneath Louis van Gaal's nose last week, hopes he can land defensive reinforcements.

But what are the latest developments?

Arsene Wenger is reportedly still in the market for a marquee signing and, with a move for Real Madrid's Karim Benzema unlikely, the Arsenal boss is believed to have turned his attention to Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.

The powerful Uruguayan forward has played second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the French capital in recent years and could challenge Olivier Giroud for a regular starting berth at the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Everton defender John Stones is prepared to submit a transfer request in an attempt to force through a move to Premier League champions Chelsea.

The Blues have failed in their pursuit of the 21-year-old so far this summer, but the England international's decision to put his cards on the table might persuade Roberto Martinez to sell.
