A host of Arsene Wenger’s star names, including Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sanchez and Hector Bellerin, were gathered at London Colney and tasked with spotting Gunnersaurus in a ‘Where’s Wally’-style montage.
Suffice to say, there was a twist in the tale. We wouldn’t want to spoil that (you can find out for yourself by watching the video above) but it was enough to have Alex Iwobi screaming: “Good Lord”.
Carl Jenkinson jumped backwards, Chuba Akpom looked ready for a fight and Santi Cazorla was in hysterics.
As for French duo Francis Coquelin and Jeff Reine-Adelaide… Well they weren’t one bit impressed by the whole prank.
Wenger will hope that his players have had enough frights for the week as they travel to Sofia, where they face Ludogorets Razgrad in the Champions League. This week could end in nightmare fashion for Arsenal come Sunday, when they face bitter rivals Tottenham at the Emirates.
