Former Tottenham striker Sergei Rebrov hopes that he can keep hold of Arsenal target Aleksandar Dragovic.
The Austrian international has reportedly caught the attention of Arsene Wenger, with the Gunners boss keen on strengthening his defence with the 24-year-old.
Rebrov, who spent four years with Spurs between 2000 and 2004 before moving to west Ham following a loan spell with Fenerbahce, is now in charge of Dragovic's club Dynamo Kiev.
Speaking ahead of his side's Europa League clash with Everton, the 40-year-old was quizzed on whether he expected his star to remain in Kiev.
"You are asking about one of the best players in my team and I don't want to lose this player," Rebrov told reporters.
"He is a top-class player and I hope he will stay with us."
Thursday night's clash against Roberto Martinez' side will be the first time Rebrov has returned to England as a manager, and he admits that he follows all of his old clubs closely - and former team-mates, including now Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood.

"The Premier League is always interesting for me, whether you are playing in it or just watching it. And it is a very hard league," he added.
"I'm also very pleased for my good friend Tim Sherwood (his former Spurs team-mate), who is doing a good job as Aston Villa manager."
