Lukas Podolski is a transfer target for Inter Milan and Fiorentina.
The Arsenal forward attracted interest from Serie A last summer but in the end stayed in north London, despite interest from Juventus.
Juve have since moved on but both Inter – who are also exploring a loan move for Gunners striker Joel Campbell – and Fiorentina are considering an offer for Podolski, 29, in January.
Podolski’s contract expires at the end of next season and he has scored one goal in eight appearances for Arsenal this season.
The German attacker confirmed this week that he could seek to leave Arsenal.
He said: “I am not happy with the situation at the moment - It would be wrong to suggest that I am.
"I still have fun playing football but when the competitive element of it is taken away from me, the one I enjoy so much, then I am not happy."
He added: “I have to think about will happen this winter and will look to hold talks with the club. There were no offers [in the summer]. In football you can’t sadly just go looking for a club but have to see what comes.”
