Jack Wilshere has arrived at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium for his medical ahead of completing a loan move from Arsenal.

As reported by Standard Sport, Wilshere has opted to join Eddie Howe’s side ahead of Crystal Palace, AS Roma and AC Milan because of their style of play and also the added benefit of keeping his family together by remaining within a reasonable travel time to London.

The 24-year-old became available for a temporary move after being told by Arsene Wenger that he would not feature for Arsenal on a regular basis this season.

Having considered offers from at least three Premier League clubs, Wilshere opted for the Cherries and travelled down to the south coast to undergo and medical and agree personal terms.

The move will come as a blow to Palace, with their manager Alan Pardew admitting earlier today that signing Wilshere would be the 'icing on the cake'.
