Arsenal will face Solihull Moors or Blackpool in the third round of the FA Cup.

Unai Emery’s side will take on the Seasiders or the National League side with the tie due to be played across the weekend of January 4-7.

Arsenal were knocked out of the FA Cup at the third-round stage last season as Nottingham Forest scored four times in front of their own fans for a thumping win in what would become Arsene Wenger's final game in the competition.

However, in the four previous seasons Arsenal lifted the trophy three times to become the most successful side in the competition's history with 13, on more than Manchester United.

Wenger won the competition seven times, making him more successful than all but six teams who have ever featured in the competition and one fewer than north London rivals Tottenham.

Before their FA Cup commitments, Arsenal face Tottenham in the League Cup quarter-finals on December 19 at the Emirates Stadium.

The derby comes just 17 days after the Premier League clash, which Arsenal convincingly won 4-2.
