Emmanuel Adebayor has earned the wrath of Arsenal fans once again - a decade on from his infamous celebration at the Etihad Stadium.

Thursday marked the 10-year anniversary of the striker running the length of the pitch to celebrate a goal for Manchester City in front of the travelling Arsenal support – just months on from swapping the red half of London for Manchester.

The Togo international was suspended for two games and fined £25,000 by the FA for what would go down as one of the most iconic goal celebrations of the Premier League era.

And the 35-year-old, now playing for Turkish side Kayserispor, has no intention of letting Gunners fans forget that day, trolling his old club with a mischievous post on Instagram.

The post has inevitably prompted responses from Arsenal fans, with one remarking the celebration was 'the greatest achievement of his career' - to which Adebayor replied 'Money, cars, bank account, that is what I came to Europe for.'
