Arsene Wenger expects "everyone" to support Sutton United when he takes his Arsenal team to the home of the non-league giant-killers in the FA Cup on Monday.

The National League outfit have reached the fifth round of the world's oldest cup competition for the first time in their history to seal a date with the Premier League giants.

Sutton head into the game without a win in their last four games, including a 5-0 loss to Boreham Wood in the FA Trophy, but Wenger is not taking their form for granted.

"Sutton had six or seven players who didn’t play, so they didn’t play with their regular team," Wenger told reporters of FA Trophy quarter-final clash.

"I expect a completely different game against us.

"It will be the FA Cup with everybody supporting them. They’ve been preparing for this game for a long time in their heads with a huge enthusiasm, so you cannot compare that with the game against Boreham Wood."

The Monday night game at Gander Green Lane evokes memories of Sutton United's 1989 FA Cup third-round win over Coventry City, then of the First Division, which went down as one of the biggest upsets in the competition's history.

The FA Cup remains Arsenal's most realistic chance for silverware this season after falling 10 points behind Chelsea in the Premier League standings and losing 5-1 to Bayern Munich in the Champions League last-16 first leg.
