Standard Sport brings you live coverage of Manchester United’s visit to Villa Park.

Louis van Gaal takes his side to the Midlands keen to build on a pleasing opening day against Tottenham and continue an exceptional record against Aston Villa.

Tim Sherwood’s side last home league victory against United came nearly twenty years ago today, when a youthful United side were hammered by Villa, leading to Alan Hansen famously warning Sir Alex Ferguson: “You can’t win anything with kids”. United went on to win the title that year.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is confident that this season will also end in silverware, predicting ahead of tonight’s game that United had a chance to win the title.

However they are coming up against a side in equally good form, with Sherwood overseeing a 1-0 away win over newly-promoted Bournemouth in Villa’s opener. New signing Adama Traore will be watching on as Villa look to upset the odds.

Will United be able to make it two from two tonight? Find out with Standard Sport’s live coverage below
