One-sided: Mario Mandzukic and Sergio Ramos battle for possession

Standard Sport assesses the individual performances from Real Madrid's 4-0 victory over Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern knew they needed at least one goal to retain any hope of reaching a second successive Champions League final, but never threatened to get going.

A lethal four-minute period saw Sergio Ramos head an unlikely brace inside 20 minutes to put the game some way beyond Madrid's German hosts.

Cristiano Ronaldo then broke Lionel Messi's record (14) for goals in a single Champions League season when he finished a fierce counter-attack and took his tally to 15. The Portugal international then extended that record with a low free-kick in the last minute.

Xabi Alonso, however, will miss the European Cup final after a clumsy challenge on Bastian Schweinsteiger saw him yellow carded. The Spaniard went into Tuesday's game one booking away from suspension.
