Carlos Tevez is ready to stay at Manchester City

30 April 2012

Carlos Tevez revved up tonight’s Premier League title shoot-out by signalling his intent to stay at Manchester City.

The former Manchester United striker, who walked out on City for five months earlier this season and had looked set to quit the Etihad Stadium in the summer, is expected to partner Sergio Aguero in the Manchester derby which will decide the destiny of the title.

He said: “It was the project and the dream that made me come to City in the first place.

“I’ve been here since the start of that project and I share the same vision as Sheikh Mansour.

“He has always been brilliant with me and I want to repay his faith and stay here as long as it takes to make the project a success.”
