Casey Stoney's brilliant reply on Twitter after being told she belongs in the kitchen

Casey Stoney is not used to scoring screamers, but this rocket into the top corner should have come as no surprise.

The former Liverpool and England defender won the Professional Footballers' Association's Special Achievement Award on Sunday evening after the best part of two decades in the game.

Unfortunately, not everyone was pleased for Stoney - who also has an MBE - as @BenPriceCFC replied to the PFA tweet of the plate-shaped award: "That plate will look good when you put it in the kitchen where you belong."

Big mistake.

Stoney replied: "Yes it'll look fabulous in my kitchen next to my oven gloves, ironing board, my 4 FA Cups, 5 league cups, 2 league titles, European silver medal, world bronze medal and 130 England Caps! It will fit very nicely thank you."

Then sealed with an emoji kiss.

Ben Price reacted by making his Twitter account private as Stoney received congratulatory tweets.
