Thierry Henry turns 38 today and what better way to reminisce over an Arsenal legend than by watching a small collection of classic goals?

Picking the 10 best from a club-record 228 was no easy feat for the club and for every great strike they selected there’s another three or four missing.

Though Henry didn’t open his account for Arsenal until a month into the 1999/2000 season he set the tone for eight years of stylish and spectacular strikes with a curling 20 yard strike against Southampton. As spectacular as that opener was few Arsenal fans would have expected there were another 227 to come.

Of course the impudent back heel against Charlton from 2004 is in there, when he flicked the ball past the goalkeeper whilst a defender jostled with him from behind.

And who could forget the volley on the turn he hit against rivals Manchester United in 2000, perhaps the finest of all of them and a justifiable selection for the video of his 10 best?

As fantastic as those are what greater proof could there be of the French striker’s legacy than the sheer number of strikes missed out? From a wonderful 25 yarder in a League Cup game at Middlesbrough in 1999 to the predatory finish he scored against Leeds in 2012 (though both can't be included on this Premier League only compilation) there would be enough great goals in any compilation for hours of viewing.

Arsenal fans, sit back and enjoy ten of the best.
