Tottenham will face Liverpool in the 2019 Champions League Final after the north Londoners pulled off a miraculous comeback to seal their spot in next month's Madrid showpiece.

Spurs, who lost the first leg of their semi-final 1-0 in north London last week, were 2-0 down at half-time in the second leg at the Johan Cruyff Arena before Lucas Moura inspired a stunning fightback.

Tottenham emerged for the second period knowing they needed three goals without reply to book their place in the Champions League Final.

Mauricio Pochettino threw on Fernando Llorente for Victor Wanyama as Spurs chased an unlikely fightback.

Lucas gave the visitors hope when he shared a smart exchange with Dele Alli before charging down on André Onana's goal and steering the ball past the Ajax 'keeper.

The visitng fans really started to believe when Onana denied Llorente from point blank range before Lucas gathered the rebound, worked the ball past two defenders and smashed in a second on the turn with just over half an hour left on the clock.

But Tottenham were made to wait until the very last minute of time added on to complete one of the most remarkable comebacks in the history of the competition.
