Jose Mourinho refused to comment on David Luiz's studs-up challenge on Marouane Fellaini during Chelsea 4-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday, although he did reveal the midfielder has suffered an injury.

Luiz caught Fellaini in his knee as the Chelsea defender went for the ball in the 39th minute of the clash at Stamford Bridge, but was only shown a yellow card by referee Martin Atkinson for the challenge.

Fellaini initially appeared to have suffered a serious injury after staying down on the pitch for several minutes but, after being seen to by the United club doctors, he got back up and resumed playing despite limping for some time.

Mourinho took the Belgian off for Juan Mata at half-time but, after the game, the Portuguese coach refused to say whether Luiz's challenge deserved a red card.

When asked about the decision, Mourinho told his post-match press conference."You know, I leave it for you. Because after a defeat 4-0, if I'm going to speak about the referee, you are going to jump [to conclusions], especially you because you are one of the guys who is not very honest...

"If you think that to play against 10 men for an hour, more or less, would be significant and would be an important change in the game, then you have to say. You have to write it."

When then asked whether Fellaini had been injured during the challenge, Mourinho replied: "If I'm going to say he was injured, you'll say again... It was a bit of both [tactical and injury]."
