Chelsea's sixth straight Premier League win has sent them top of the table and above Liverpool as favourites to win the title.

Antonio Conte's Blues kept their sixth leaguie clean sheet in a row as they beat Middlesbrough 1-0 at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday to leapfrog Liverpool into top spot after 12 games.

But despite Chelsea taking first place in the standings, Manchester City are still favourites to win the title after Pep Guardiola's side were inspired to a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday with two goals from Yaya Toure.

Liverpool were held to a goalless draw at Southampton, while Arsenal secured a late draw against Manchester United to frustrate Jose Mourinho's attempts to build momentum for a potential title challenge.

Totteham also kept themselves among the contenders as they fought back from 2-1 down at home against West Ham with two last-minute goals from Harry Kane to win 3-2.
